Currently, the word plugin works by accessing the valispace data through the rest API. We had past instances in which the importing requirements get broken when there are undefined characters or symbols. In this case, please let us know at which requirement the import is breaking (URL of the requirement) and the log file. You can find the log file in C:\Temp\ValispaceLog.

If you are an on-premise customer, please send the rest API page of the requirement. You can check here deploymentname/rest/requirements/id number of the requirement. An example is shown below
